However, if your iPhone was eligible for iOS 17, the good news is that it will still support iOS 18. Here is the list of iPhones compatible with the new software:
- iPhone SE (second generation or later)
- iPhone XR
- iPhone XS / iPhone XS Max
- iPhone 11 / iPhone 11 Pro / iPhone 11 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 mini / iPhone 12 Pro / iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13 / iPhone 13 mini / iPhone 13 Pro / iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 14 / iPhone 14 Plus / iPhone 14 Pro / iPhone 14 Pro Max

What’s New in iOS 18?
The arrival of iOS 18 brings a range of exciting features designed to improve the overall iPhone experience. One of the standout elements is Apple Intelligence, an advanced AI-powered tool. Although this feature will initially be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models and the upcoming iPhone 16 series, there’s plenty more to explore in iOS 18 for other devices. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
- Passwords App: Apple has introduced a dedicated app for managing passwords, providing a centralized location for storing and accessing credentials securely.
- Messages App Overhaul: The Messages app now offers rich text formatting, including bold, italics, and underline, alongside animations for a more dynamic messaging experience.
- Revamped Photos Library: Organize your photos more efficiently with new customization options, like creating and pinning collections. The grid layout improves navigation, making it easier to find what you’re looking for.
- Personalized Home Screen: Customize your home screen with new layout options that allow you to rearrange apps, display larger icons, and tint apps to match your personal style.
iOS 18 also comes with numerous updates to apps like Maps, Calendar, and Safari, adding even more functionality to an already feature-packed system.
